week 13

This week Carly helped celebrate Auntie Charity's 3Xth birthday at Iguana Mia's.  She was quite fussy but totally cute in her party dress.  And we still managed to snap a few gorgeous photos. 

Again, Carly was messing around with Mimi in the scrapbook room.  See the look of contentment on her face?  She loves it as much as I do!

week 12-rewind

We didn't take many pictures in Week 12 and the ones we did were not very good.  So we are rewinding a tad bit to Week 3. I found this series of pictures I took while I was still off work and enjoying Carly full-time.  They are so cute and will make a great scrapbook page when I finally get to it!

Week 11

What a little angel!  Can you see why she's my Little Rae of Sunshine!?!  Carly is getting ready for Santa and giving us her best poses.  Her stocking is sure to be full this year!

Week 10 - Thanksgiving

I am so thankful to have my beautiful new grandbaby in my life.  She slept through most of the dinner, which allowed for everyone to eat at the same time.  I don't know how she knows it, but usually Carly wants to eat at the same time as the rest of the family and someone ends up with a cold meal.  The morning started off with the 5k Turkey Trot (our 4th annual) and ended with dinner at my house.  (Well, it actually ended with me at Micheal's enjoying some pre-black Friday specials, but we'll keep that our little secret!)  Everyone was in good spirits, although we missed Aunt Carole because she was at home sick....hope she feels better soon.  Here are just a few of my favorite pictures.

Week 9

Carly was again hanging out in Mimi's Scrapbook Room.  As you can see, she was busy contemplating her next project...she had the stipple brush and tape runner handy for when the inspiration struck!

Erin's going to hate this one but I couldn't help myself....Carly looks just like Austin Powers!  She says, "It's my happening baby and it freaks me out!"

Week 8

I have been very remiss this week in taking pictures....not much to choose from.  The quantity might be poor but the quality is excellent.  Erin captured this moment of rapture while at the high school band competition.  Carly loved it!  Carly also shared some quality bonding time with her Great Gran Cracker, where else?, the scrapbook room!

Week 7

Carly was hanging out in Mimi's scrapbook room again this week...I think she's going to be a future crafter.  Check out her cute pink bow in the first picture!

My favorite of the week...my mom snapped this picture at Lakes Park after a great run with my nephew (laying on the blankie next to me).  And that's Erin in the lower left corner.

Week 6

Week 5

In preparation of the Halloween season, we dressed Carly in "one" of her outfits.  Yes, she has more than one!  In hindsight, this photo is just a prelude to the actual holiday....she was just a little on the cranky side that night. But isn't she the cutest cranky baby you've ever seen!!?!!

Carly was hard at work here in Mimi's scrapbook room.  She was contemplating her next project.  She takes this crafty business very serious...

Taking a little snooze after a long, gruelling walk with Mommy and MaMeMa at Centennial Park.  She really loves the outdoors.

Week 4

This week I caught Carly blowing some bubbles, taking a nap with Mommy, and snoozing on the beach (yes, we went again).  As you can see from the photo, she finds the beach atmosphere quite relaxing. Of course the photo was taken right before her giant poo explosion...but that's beside the point.

This week we took Carly to the beach and she LOVED it!  Mommy also gave Carly her first real bath, and she loved that too.
